“Travelling is almost like talking to those of other centuries.” - Rene Descartes
i miss travelling.
Milano. Italy’s answer to France’s Paris and USA’s New York.
More than just a world capital of fashion, Milan also has an interesting history with Castello Sforzesco, former home of the ruling family of Milan. Today, houses the city’s musuem.
Another thing to see in Milan is the Duomo. It the cathedral of the city made in high gothic style in an almost conical volcanic shape. Its facade is amazing because not a single space is left untouched with sculpture and detail. Beside, the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle can be seen. It is a golden pathway of field where Louis, Prada and Gucci, among others, can be found. It is an amazing shopping place with piano concerts in the middle and ornate high ceilings.
Although, Milan is not as “interesting” as touristy Rome, it is still worth visiting for its history and dynamism as a city.
